🚀 Paradiddle Publishing December Update: From Soft Launch to Hard Birth
Remember that “soft launch” I confessed to? The one with no products, just promises and famous last words? Well, it's not without its fair share of bumps and bruises that I say this, but scratch that — because the first major hurdle is well and truly straddled.
📚 Calm Amidst the Chaos (CATC) Has Arrived
After nine months of gestation, and a whole lot of chaos, calm is officially out in the world. And what do you know? It's already sold in three countries (yeah, one copy in each, but hey, mythic ripples can start small, right?).
So, the first pearl in the Pearls Amidst the Paradoxes series is taking its first breath.
Next Up: Focus Amidst the Frenzy: A Journey Towards Unleashing Your Inner Productivity Ninja (FATF).
Thankfully, the 2nd draft of the manuscript is in the can. Now all I have to do is drafts, 3, 4, 5, and 6; complete the artwork; edit it; re-edit; proof read it; re-edit it; re-proof read it; typeset it; re-edit it; re-proof read it; convert it into an eBook; record the audiobook; market and promote it - What the F*#k Is Wrong With Me?
Anyway, the next milestone is locked in the sights, and I'm pushing for a March ’26 release of FATF.
Is it going to land on time? Talk about famous last words.
🛠 That Long-Awaited Merch
Still no merch yet (I know, I know). But now that CATC is born, my focus shifts here. Expect gear that’s tested, approved, and so cool it ships with frostbite. ❄️.
Seriously though, the WTFFIWWY merch in particular is looking awesome. Fingers crossed it looks as good in the flesh.
As you know from my blog rants, we indie authors don't make a lot of coin from our books, so merch is a necessary evil. If you'd like to support me and you see something you like (when it lands), your support will be received with immense gratitude.

The "What the F#k Is Wrong With You” podcast is gathering some serious steam too. Yeah, it's a long way off, but the ideas just keeeeeppp ooonnnn comin'.

Episode frameworks are already stacking up, and some are so controversial they’ll knock the calm right out of your chaos.
As mentioned, merch tied to the show is looking awesome, and should drop in the lead‑up to the first episode mid next year.

Hey, I’m Gerard, thank you so much for dropping by. I hope you find some information here that helps calibrate your path on this journey we call life.
I like to think my website is a little unique because there’s no fluff here (and if you find some, please drop me a line and kick my ass).
First up, I don’t pretend to be anything other than an ordinary person stumbling through life’s absurdities just like everyone else.
I have no fancy titles, no mystical wisdom, just me, chasing calm amidst my chaos and trying to make sense of the paradoxes life insists on throwing at me and hopefully, helping an agitated soul or two along the way. That's what floats my boat.
