Buckle Up, We’re Finally Bringing Paradiddle Publishing to Life

Paradiddle Publishing has existed in the shadows—waiting, watching, lingering while Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway took center stage. But now? It’s finally time. This is the story of fear, excitement, and launching something bigger than myself. Time to take the leap.

It's Alive!!

Bring Me To Life...

Okeedokee, peops. We’re doing this. The wheels are in motion, the caffeine is flowing, and the "What the hell am I getting myself into?" thoughts are on repeat.

After seven rewrites (yes, seven—I checked, and that’s officially too many), Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway is crawling toward the finish line, limping but determined. And with that chapter nearly closed, something strange has started happening, my pent up creative ideas are starting to flow once more. Big ones. The kind that don’t shut up and demand attention (just like Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway did 11 years ago - what the hell is wrong with me?).

A book series? A self-reflection genre that probably doesn’t exist? Screw it, maybe we just invent it.

But I don’t want to do this quietly. I'm going to rush in kicking and screaming. Finally, I feel ready (I think) to embrace the fear, find my voice, and carve out a space where stories and insights actually help people.

And here’s the part that makes this all feel so damn right. This isn’t some last-minute, impulsive idea. Paradiddle Publishing was born when Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway first entered my world. The name, the domain, the concept—it’s been sitting there, waiting, dormant. While my muse, Seen the Lights Go Our on Broadway had its way with me (and trust me, it did), Paradiddle Publishing patiently waited for its moment. I registered the business name and the domain name early on in readiness for this moment

Now? It’s time.

I have no idea what I’m doing. No guarantees, no safety net, just gut instinct, passion, and the stubborn belief that this could be something that helps others navigate their own rocky paths. Excited? Hell yes. Terrified? Even more so.

But that’s the paradox, isn’t it (pun squarely intended)? The best things in life make you question your sanity right before they change everything.

So, here’s to taking the leap, making a mess, and figuring it out as we go.
