Despite his 'angry young man' disposition, James, driven by an undying love for humanity and a steadfast belief in keeping the faith, embarks on a treacherous mission through dystopian New York. Following an encounter with the enigmatic drug lord, Captain Jack, they gather an eclectic group of survivors, each with hidden strengths, secrets, and strangers of their own, and embark on a perilous trek across the country and back again in pursuit of a prophecy fulfilled.

Their quest for redemption and survival becomes a beacon of hope amidst the hopelessness. But when the ultimate secret is revealed–a breathtaking symbiotic union that could redefine humanity’s future–they must confront the very essence of faith, love, and what it means to be only human.
